Volleyball in Akiak

The weekend of the volleyball meet in Akiak was alright, but was boring because our whole team never made it in, which sucked! If they had made it in, we would have probably played better and feel a lot more like a team:). The night when we got to Akiak, I thought every single student from our team was going to make it in, but the pilot from JP said that they aren't going to be landing until the air strip was plowed, which wasn't until the next day. It was so boring that night because we weren't even playing real competitions...we were just playing for fun because all our boys weren't there. There was just one boy and four girls, which was hard for Atell' to play:), but we did pretty good playing with only five volleyball players. The next morning Harry made it to Akiak, which we played three games and guess what? We won them all..yepii for us!!:). We finally played real competition and they counted...yay!!:). I wish Ana-boy made it in too, but I guess it wasn't his fault because the river was full of ice burgs:). Well, we are going to have a home game next coming weekend if everything goes well. I'm excited because Aniak is coming to this meet, which we haven't played yet so it is going to be exciting. I hope every single one of the volleyball players are eligible....HERE WE GO GRIZZLIES!!! Lets show em' what we got. Yaya!!:)
